Aaron Lee Hartsfield, was born to the late Willie Mae Hartsfield Alridge and Joe Alridge.
Aaron attended the First Missionary Baptist Church all of his life. He was a graduate of Lufkin High School, Class of 1974. After graduation, Aaron joined the United States Marine Corp where he served until 1978. He continued his formal education upon leaving the Corp at Angelina College, where he received his AAS Degree in Business. Later, he received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Stephen F. Austin University in 1986.
His employment included his work at the United Post Office from which he retired.
Aaron had been united in marriage to Willie Jean Porter-Hartsfield, on June 1 1, 1982 who preceded him in death.

His three daughters, Natasha Coutee (Aaron), La Tisha Jackson (Angela) and La Donna Hartsfield; One son, Damion Hartsfield; A sister, Lou Hartsfield Williams; Three brothers, Marvin Hartsfield (Cindy), Danny Hartsfield (Janice) and Joe Hartsfield; Eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Aaron was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Jean Porter-Hartsfield; His parents, Joe Alridge and Willie Mae Alridge; A son,Tyrel Hartsfield; Brothers, Jimmy Hartsfield and Joe Alridge, Jr.
