Dorothy A. (Delp) Belleau passed away peacefully on February 22, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Robert Belleau for 60 years before his death in 2010. Born in Peabody on July 14, 1933, Dorothy was the daughter of the late George and Pearl Delp. She was a longtime Danvers resident.
Dorothy's caring nature led her to the nursing profession. She graduated from the Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute School of Practical Nursing in 1968. During her nursing career, she worked as an LPN at Hunt Hospital and Pilgrim Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, and also as a private duty nurse.
A devout Jehovah's Witness, Dorothy was an active and beloved member of her congregation.
She is survived by her five children: Robert Belleau Jr., Evelyn Abbott, Dawn Belleau, Kendra Warren, and Stephen Belleau.
Also survived by her brother, George Delp; her sister, Phyllis Endicott, wife of the late William P. Endicott (129986128); her four grandchildren; and her great-grandchild.
She is predeceased by her brother, Bradley Delp.
