Edna Farrell Erickson, 79 of Wichita Falls passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.
Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home.
Edna was born on November 13, 1939 to the late Cran and Georgia (Hollander) Holloway in Wichita Falls. She graduated from Iowa Park High School. Later she married a service man, Kenneth Ericson and being a military family, they lived in several places, mostly in Minnesota. She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings football games. Edna and Kenneth spent over 40 years together before his passing. She and Kenneth bowled on a team for many years. Edna liked to read, participate in horseshoe games and watching her television program 'NCIS'. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the community food pantry for Floral Heights Church in Wichita Falls, and while in Minnesota she called bingo games at the American Legion. Edna was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses of Wichita Falls. She will be missed by friends and family.
Along with her parents and husband, Kenneth, Edna was preceded in death by a daughter, Vikki Ericson.
She is survived by two brothers, Wayne Holloway and wife, Wanda of Cleburne and Kenneth Holloway of Newark; two sisters, Carol Spradlin of Richland Hills and Joyce Minton of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
