Local Resident, 84, Dies Here Tuesday. Heart Ailment Results in Death of Mrs. Fredericka Bliesener
Mrs. Fredericka Bliesener, 84, local resident, died at 7:40 o'clock last night at her home 810 South Peach street. Although she had not been in the best of health for some time, she first became more seriously ill on Monday. Her illness was attributed to complications caused by a heart ailment.
Mrs. Bliesener, nee Fredericka Zettler, was born in Manitowoc County, April 11, 1855. She was married in Manitowoc several years before coming to Marshfield in 1879, to Ferdinand Bliesener, who preceded her in death about 20 years ago.
Surviving relatives include three sons, John Bliesener of Cut Bank, Mont., William Bliesener of Minneapolis and George Bliesener of 810 S. Peach street; three brothers, John Zettler, Town of Day, George Zettler, 210 W. Fourth street, and Frank Zettler, Mankato, Minn.; and one sister, Mrs. Anna Bliesener, Bay City, Mich.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Relatives beside her husband who preceded her in death were a son, John Bliesener of Cut Bank, Mont., who died in 1919 and was buried in Marshfield; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest (Minnie) Cummings of Marshfield, who died 27 years ago; three brothers, William, Rudolph and Charles Zettler, all of Marshfield; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Johnson, Escanaba, Mich.
Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. Interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery.
