Edward Wayne Foreman, 70 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, died on September 17, 2019 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Edward was born on December 21, 1948 in Jay, Oklahoma, to Thomas Edward Foreman and Lottie Faye Davis Foreman. He was a lifelong resident of Jay, Oklahoma and Colcord, Oklahoma. Edward was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Era. He married Amy Maxwell on December 24, 1990 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. Edward was a truck driver that worked for La-Z-Boy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Lynn Foreman and Chris Foreman; and two sisters, Christine Mouse and Lois Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Foreman; six children, Jo Lynn King of Jay, Oklahoma, Lenora Luper of Joplin, Missouri, Daniel Foreman of Jay, Oklahoma, Matthew Rider and wife Kelly of Waynesville, Missouri, Abby Staggs of Joplin, Missouri, and Mark Rider and wife Vanessa of Westville, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Rowdy Foreman of Jay, Oklahoma; and sister, Sue Sharp of Jay, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2019 at Sycamore Springs Baptist Church, with Pastor Duke Pickup officiating. Burial will follow at Sycamore Springs Cemetery, Jay, Oklahoma. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
