Shawn E. McKenna, age 47, of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, August 3, 2016 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Shawn was born on February 24, 1969, son of Edward McKenna and Karen (Grabowski/McKenna) Brouchoud. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1988. Shawn was most recently employed at Federal Mogul for 17 years. He loved listening to music, singing karaoke, and always enjoyed a good joke.
He was the proud father of Gabriel McKenna-Cookle and Chelsey McKenna-Cookle. He will be sadly missed by his mother: Karen (Leonard M.) Brouchoud; his father: Edward (Diane) McKenna; sisters: Kari McKenna and Kristin McKenna; brother: Aaron (Tanya) McKenna; sister and brother: Pattie Brouchoud and Lenny Brouchoud; sister: Amanda Stegen; aunts and uncles: Dennis (Linda) Grabowski, Laura Lagasse, Lloyd McKenna (Godfather), Maxine (Jon) Kallies; nieces and nephews: Samantha, Cole, Darren, Brayden, Taylor, Levi, Jaden, Bailey and Brennan. Many cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Marvin Grabowski, Lorraine (Michael) Morick, Stephen and Ethel McKenna; and very special great grandparents: Melvin and Hildegard Johnsrud.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Pfeffer Funeral Home (928 South 14th Street), Manitowoc, with a time of remembrance at 3:00 p.m.
