Funeral services will be conducted Friday in New Jersey for Heather Stigliano, 19, a former Abingtons area resident who was found murdered earlier this week in her Myrtle Beach, SC home.

Born in Dover, NJ, daughter of Victor Stigliano and Susan Wright, she had resided in the Newton-Ransom area while she attended Abington Heights School from the second to the 10th grade. She also had lived in Mount Arlington, Roxbury and Branchville, NJ before moving from Dalton to Myrtle Beach two months ago.

A 1990 honors graduate of High Point Regional High School in Branchville, she had attended Roxbury High School in her junior year of school. She was employed as a waitress at Shoney's Restaurant, Myrtle Beach.

Also surviving are one brother; one sister; paternal grandmother; maternal grandparents; and maternal great-great-grandfather.

The funeral will be on Friday with services at 10 AM in the Ledgewood Mormon Church, Ledgewood, NJ by Bishop Freeman. Interment took place at Succasunna Methodist Cemetery, Succasunna, NJ. Friends may call today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM in the Davis and Hepplewhite Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Succasunna.
