Richard Gorman Branch, age 90, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Caretel Inns of Tri-Cities in Bay City, MI. He was born on April 29, 1928 in Detroit to Arthur and Elvira (Baker) Branch. Richard had lived in the Cartel Inns of Tri-Cities since 2016, formerly of Lupton. He was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council, and severed in the Army during the Korean War. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Detroit and worked as an accountant for Chrysler for at least 25 years. Richard enjoyed traveling, duck hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time outdoors.

Richard is survived by his sons, Richard (Rhonda) Branch of Freeland, MI, Craig (Vicki) Branch of Cornwall, NY, Chris Branch of St. Clair Shores, MI, Matthew (Elisabeth) Branch of Viola, IL; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and sister in law, Rita Rhead of Rifle Lake, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dolores in 2010.

Visitation at Holy Family Catholic Church will begin on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
