CAMBRIA --- Iva B. Albee, 99, formerly of Cambria, died peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014, at
Golden Living Center-Continental Manor in Randolph.

Iva was born on Aug. 22, 1915, in Marquette County, to William and Mable (Haskins) Jake. She was ducated in the Neillsville school system. Iva was employed with Clark and Jackson counties until her marriage to Morris J. Rowlands. They lived in Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties until coming to Cambria in 1946. They farmed in the town of Springvale until his death in 1952. Iva and the children moved to the village of Cambria. She then worked for Cambria High School, two doctors’ offices and Jung Seed Co. She was united in marriage to Dana Albee in 1957. After retirement they spent winters in Florida until Dana’s death in 1995. Iva was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in Cambria.

Iva will be sadly missed and mourned by her three daughters, Pat Beske, Beaver Dam, Sue (Jim) Mohr,
Waupaca, and Catherine “Sparky” Mitchell, Pardeeville; one stepdaughter, Shirley Brossard, Cambria; one sister, Marge Riley, New London; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; nine step great grandchildren; and six step great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and riends.

Iva was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; two sons-in-law, Milt Beske and Gordon Mitchell; and one stepson-in-law, Stan Brossard.

A special thank you to all the wonderful staff at Golden Living Center-Continental Manor in Randolph and to Dr. Sam and Dr. Rolf Poser for all their loving care during our mother’s stay.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec. 12, at 11:30 a.m. from First Presbyterian Church in Cambria with the Rev. Kristin Frederich officiating. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday morning at the church from 10 a.m. to the time of the service. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall. Inturment will be held in Cambria Cemetery at a later time for immediate family.
