She was born October 31, 1921, in Jefferson County, to Patrick Caldwell and Ruie Marie Dillworth Galloway.
She had worked for Riceland Foods retiring as the office manager.
Rose was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church where after her retirement she served as the cook for Maranatha Baptist School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Hickerson, whom she married on June 15, 1942, in Pine Bluff; her parents; a sister, Ruie Bass and a brother Patrick Galloway.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Whitney Horne (Paul) of Mena; great-grandchildren, Lexi Davis, Colby Davis; daughter, Collie Rinchuso (Andy) of Little Rock; grandson, Seth Lamar; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
