August M. Adam died at his home, 1421 Kentucky avenue, last night after a long illness. He had suffered a stroke two years ago, and had been ailing ever since.
Mr. Adam was born in Germany, Feb. 27, 1849. His funeral will be held on Feb. 27, 1929, his eightieth birthday anniversary.
Coming to the United States from Germany in 1870, Mr. Adam located in Sheboygan and lived here continuously from then until his death. He was married fifty-three years ago. For thirty-four years in succession he was employed at the Crocker Chair company.
Besides his wife, Mr. Adam is survived by a son, Emil, two daughters, Mrs. Otto Schultz and Mrs. John Kasabuski, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of Sheboygan.
Funeral services all be held at home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. E. R. Krueger officiating. Interment will be made in Lutheran cemetery.
