Sister of F.W. Meyer Had Made Home Here for 60 years
Miss Catherine Meyer, sister of F.W. Meyer, Washington Street, and a resident of the city for nearly 60 years, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Fred Phillippen, Division Street after an illness of some time. Funeral services will be held from St. Boniface Church Wednesday morning.
Miss Meyer was a native of Germany and came here as a girl of nine years and had made her her home in the city ever since. She was born July 11, 1844. Besides her mother, Miss Meyer is survived by one brother, F.W. Meyer, this city and two sisters, Mrs. J. Praeger and Mrs. Paul Campbell of Chicago, both of whom will be here for the burial.
