Mrs. Beth Moose Ferguson, Washington resident since 1926 and active in the local PEO organization, died yesterday at Doctors Hospital after a long illness.
She was a native of Morrilton, Ark., a daughter of the late Judge William Lewis Moose, Arkansas Attorney-General. After attending the University of Tennessee, she became a primary teach in Arkansas and Tennessee and was later a secretary for her father.
She came to Washington with her husband, the late Robert M. Ferguson, of Chicago, an Interstate Commerce Commission accountant. Mr. Ferguson died in 1949.
Mrs. Ferguson was a charter member of Chapter H, PEO here. She was chapter president from 1930 to 1931. In 1939 she became president of the Washington Chapters. She organized PEO Chapter O here.
Mrs. was a member of Foundry Methodist Church, 1500 Sixteenth street N.W. She is survived by a brother, Charles R. Moose, of Morrilton.
Services will be held at Hines funeral home. Time will be announced later. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
