Father BROWNING, THOMAS SAMUEL
Mother PETERSEN, DORA
Spouse PARKER, JOHN RICHARD

Beth Parker peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father at the age of 100. One of Beth Parker’s goals was to live to reach 100. Way to go Beth! GOAL ACCOMPLISHED.

Beth was born in Hyrum, Utah in 1918. Beth was able to experience many events in her 100 years. Her father was the first in their town to own a Model-T ford, she rode an old trolley Ogden to Salt Lake for transportation, and she was a new student at the U of U when Pearl Harbor was bombed. She lived through 18 U.S presidents, incredible technological advances and still found wonder and amazement in the simple things in life.

Beth was longtime resident of Ogden, Utah. She graduated Ogden High School, then from the University of Utah in 1940, and then went on to get her Masters at BYU. She was
a retired school teacher, and was known for her creativity and fun with the children.

Beth always loved the arts and music and met her husband John R. Parker at an art exhibit at the state capitol. They married in 1949.
She is survived by her 2 children, John Parker Jr. and Bethanne Parker Andersen. Beth had 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She supported them in all things and in return they have brought her such joy.

Beth served a LDS Spanish speaking mission in Texas with her husband, she has also enjoyed many volunteer positions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Beth's family hobbies while younger included boating with her husband at Lake Powell and British Columbia, crafting, quilting and reading. Beth was always full of life, loved nature, and found beauty in everyday things. Beth had a positive attitude as her years became greater, and you could always find a smile on her face.

Beth Parker was very loved, and her influence will be found in future generations.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, April 28, 2019 at the LDS meeting house, 3680 Eccles Avenue, Ogden, Utah.
