Billy James Daniel, Sr., 70, of Maumelle passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019. He was born November 12, 1948 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to the late Billy and Mary Frances Daniel and grew up in Fordyce. He was a United States Army Vietnam veteran and owner of A-1 Daniel Moving and Storage Company. Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trips to Branson. He loved spoiling his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by the love of his life, and wife of 48 years, Janis Kelly Daniel; daughter, Misty Kaye Witcher (Chris); grandchildren, Billy James “Trey” Daniel, III, Aspen Kaye Hill, Andrew Slaton Daniel and Ireland Christina Hill; sister, Frances Ann Cheatham (Gary); and his brother, Donny Daniel (Candace). He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy James Daniel, Jr.; brother, Ricky Daniel; and his four-legged friend and companion, Laddie.
