Former Citizen Born and Reared Here Passes Away

Relatives and friends in Breckenridge are advised of the sudden death in Amarillo on Friday morning of J.C. Sebastian, son of Senator and Mrs. W.P. Sebastian. The deceased was born and reared in Breckenridge and was about 38 or 39 years old, when suddenly stricken with heart trouble.

Mr. Sebastian had been secretary of the Chamber of Commerce at Amarillo for four years and had accomplished many worthwhile things for that enterprising Panhandle city.

In addition to his parents, the deceased is survived by his widow, other relatives and many friends. Mr. Hutchins of this city is a step-brother.

Senator Sebastian, now a member of the Board of Pardons at Austin, was called to Amarillo by the fatal illness of his son, Mrs. Sebastian being detained in Austin by illness. The family now make their home in Fort Worth. No word had been received up to last night as to funeral arrangements or where the body will be buried.

The many friends of Senator and Mrs. Sebastian will extend heartfelt sympathy and condolence to them in their hour of bereavement and sorrow.
