Mrs. Cruse was born in McMinville, Tenn., and moved to High Springs from Tennessee 47 years ago. She worked on a poultry farm. She was a member of the Pentecostals of Gainesville.
Mrs. Cruse was preceded in death by sons Larry Young and Charles Young.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Cruse of High Springs; a son, daughters, a brother, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2004 at The Pentecostals of Gainesville Church, with the Rev. Jeffery Wayne Arnold conducting the service.
Burial was in Newnansville Cemetery under the direction of Evans-Carter Funeral Home, High Springs, Fla. Visitation was on Sunday, December 5, 2004 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
