Born to Leland Jay Reed and Thelma Gladys (Brock) Reed, she was the younger sister of Pansy and the older sister of Allen and Sylvia. She had three children, Wayne Jay, Joanne Kay and Dolores Sue. She married Ed Oswald, and later Keith Williams.
"Nita" had great energy. In addition to raising her family, she owned a dress shop, worked in a cycle and hobby shop, and was a licensed real estate salesperson. She loved to entertain her family and friends, and always insisted on playing games (cards, scrabble, etc.) and serving her home made cookies and pies. In her younger years she enjoyed hunting and fishing. A good amateur photographer, she liked to write poems and jingles, mostly about the foibles of her family. She is missed by us all.
