Paul Nix passed away at 7:16 a.m. November 8,1996 at Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney. Paul was born in Jasper County, Il. the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Nix Bridges. He married Jean Gorrell; October 10, 1942 at St. Charles, Missouri. Paul was a member of the Bogota Baptist Church, retired from Country Companies Insurance, was a veteran of the Army during World War II, serving as a Major. He was a loving Uncle and enjoyed woodworking and old tools. He is survived by his wife, Jean, a brother Jim (wife Mary) Bridges of Newton, sister Georgianna (husband Harold) Shamhart of Wheeler and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Irmalyn.
