Fabijus Marcinkus, 64, passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, surrounded by his loving wife.
Fabijus was born August 9, 1955 in Baltimore, MD. He was the son of the late Antanas Marcinkus and Aldona (Majauskas) Marcinkus.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Tina Marcinkus.
Fab graduated UMBC with a degree in Economics and later a degree in Computer Science. He served many years as a contractor for the US Department of Labor until he became a federal employee in 2005.
Fab was an amazing man who would engage anyone in conversation. He was an impressive collector of many things, primarily vinyl records, beer cans and military memorabilia. He loved life and enjoyed getting together with friends and family as frequently as possible. He enjoyed traveling the world as well as sitting on the sofa watching TV. He was a very kind, generous man who lived life to the fullest and loved with all of his heart. He touched each of us in many ways and will be dearly missed and remembered always.
In addition to his wife, Tina Marcinkus, he is survived by his loving children, Emma and Anthony Marcinkus; aunt, Ona (Majauskas) Eringis; first counsin, Sandra Buda and her husband, Mark; mother-in-law, Lois Brennan; sister-in-law, Jodi Wells and her husband, Russell. He also leaves behind many cousins and friends that he considered family and his loving dogs, Lily, Heidi and Winnie.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Michael Brennan.
A Celebration Mass will take place at St. Michael's Catholic Church at Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michael's Road, Mount Airy, MD. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11:00 am. Father Michael Ruane will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery.
