Matthew was known for his gentle and loving heart, funny wit, and passion for sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, Falcons, and FSU Seminoles. He also loved all music, dancing, photography, his mom’s cooking, fishing, and watching sports with his Dad.
Along with his strong faith in God, he found joy in children. He could be found rolling on the floor, making them laugh and being a big kid himself. Matt deeply loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his nephew Jason.
Matthew is survived by his father, Darrell; his mother, Ceci; his brother, Jeffrey; his sister-in-law Isaacphine; and his nephew, Jason.
Services will be in the Columbarium at Southern Cremations and Funerals, 1861 Dallas Hwy. SW, Marietta, GA on Saturday, April 20, 2019 with visitation at 10:00 a.m., services at 11:00 a.m., and a reception to follow.
