The following are Chronicle items:
A three year old son of Frederick Saubert, who lives near the tannery of the Wisconsin Leather company, fell into a well last Friday, while Mr. and Mrs. Saubert were away from home and was drowned. Some of the older children discovered the accident and immediately set about getting the little fellow out, which they succeeded in doing but not, however, until life had left him.
