French and Bavarian military Officer. Also known as Philippe Guillaume de Deux-Ponts and Wilhelm von Forbach. He was the second son of Christian IV von der Pfalz-Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld and his morganatic wife Marianne Camasse. Given the name Philipp he later changed it to Wilhelm. He married Martine-Adelaide de Polastron, half-sister of Yolande Martine Gabrielle de Polastron in 1760. Together with his brother Christian he fought in the Battle of Yorktown.
