A. Lincoln Perrine, 69, died Sunday night at his home near Jamesburg after a four days' illness. Funeral services were conducted at the Cole Funeral Home, Cranbury, Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. A. S. Layman, pastor of the Jamesburg Presbyterian Church. Interment was in Fernwood cemetery, Jamesburg, under the direction of A. S. Cole, Son & Co. Mr. Perrine was born near Jamesburg and had lived in that vicinity all his life. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William Holsten, of Maywood, N. J.; a granddaughter, Phyllis Holsten, and a sister, Mrs. Augusta Gordon, of Rahway. [The Hightstown Gazette (New Jersey), Thurs., 25 Nov 1937, pg. 8]
