Sandra J. Diltz, 79, formerly of Bloomsburg died Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
Born April 20, 1940, in Berwick, she was the daughter of the late Gerald Gearinger and Phyllis (Emrich) Smith.
Mrs. Diltz attended Bloomsburg Baptist Church. She enjoyed participating in car clubs with her husband, visiting flea markets and carnivals, and spoiling her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 53 years, Sheldon E. Diltz, who died March 14, 2010; her daughter, Sherry Diltz; her sister, Alice Carrathers; and her daughter-in-law, Tracy Diltz.
Surviving are her son, Shawn Diltz of Mifflinville; two daughters: Shelly, wife of Robert Sudduth, of Winfield, and Sonya, wife of Mark G. Swisher, of Berwick; six grandchildren: Jamie Sudduth, Bobbi Jo Herman, Sherry Smith, Shannon Hess, Tyler Diltz and Shawna Winnie; and 11 great-grandchildren: Cameron Sudduth, Brianna, Brayden and Connor Herman, Colton and Maddison Hess, Armani, Paige and Kyra Smith, and Tracyn and Gannen Winnie.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 at the Mayo Funeral Home Inc., 110 Chestnut St., Berwick, with the Rev. Craig Laidecker, her pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Creveling Cemetery, Almedia.
