His life was a living example of his favorite Bible verse, Mathew 6:33 - “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. He believes one must set "priorities" in order by "Putting God "First", seek to know Christ, seek to know His will and obey it.

He was an active member of the Cursillo, an apostolic movement of the Roman Catholic Church. He acted as a Rector for a Cursillo class for ten consecutive years. He sponsored classes annually held between November 7 - 10. The Cursillo class enabled opportunities for recruits to reflect on the values and goals of Christianity.

He migrated to the US on 1986 and worked at Mobile Gas Station City of Fullerton until he retired at the age of 65. In the US he was a member of the Legion of Mary engaging in corporal and spiritual works of mercy. Served as a Lay Minister at the St John XX111, in North Fontana CA.
