Jack W. Klem, 91, of Englewood, Florida, passed on October 9, 2019, at Sunset Lake Health & Rehab Center in Venice, Florida. He was born on October 16, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio. Loving father of Jeanne Lakner (Nick Lombardo) of Parma, Ohio, James W. Klem (Susan) of St. Petersburg, Florida and the late Jeffrey R. Klem (Sandra, also deceased) of Northglenn, Colorado, uncle of Linda Brown, Mentor, Ohio. Widower of the late Danette Klem.

He was preceded in death by his [step] parents Fred and Alice (Henrich) Stuckert and brother Leslie C. Stuckert (Rita, deceased). Jack served in the U.S. Coast Guard and served with the U.S Navy in World War II aboard the U.S.S. Admiral. He was a Teamster truck driver for 26 years in Cleveland, Ohio. In the 1980's he moved to Houston, Texas to work for Kranco servicing cranes, now retired. Moving to Holiday Estates in Englewood, Florida, he and his many cherished friends very often enjoyed poker. He liked to dance and listen to jazz music among his many other interests.

Private services were held. Inurnment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
