Veteran US NavyLeon “Uncle Pudgy” Moseley, age 69, of Zephyr gained his wings Friday, February 6, 2015 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life for Leon will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Barnum and Bro. Pat Riley officiating. Private family interment will follow at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Leon was born on April 8, 1945 to Cecil and Elizabeth (Windham) Moseley in Coleman, Texas.

Leon joined the United States Navy and served on the USS Joseph Strauss during Vietnam.

Leon was a plumber by trade but was a real “jack of all trades”.

He loved fishing, dancing, coon hunting, and you can’t forget, scratching his lottery tickets.

Leon loved and cherished his family dearly.

Leon is survived by his daughter, Brandy Haralson (the light of his life) and husband Jason of Zephyr; grandson, who he loved more than anything, Jaydon Ezra of Zephyr; brother, Jimmy Moseley and wife Emma Lou of Bangs; sisters, Hazel Hawkins of Early and Ora Gravell of Bangs; two loves of his life, Linda Krehbiel and Tammy Emerson Daugherty; his beloved dog, Bandit; daughters adopted with love, Shelly Moffatt, and Tempress Duncan; granddaughters adopted with love, Brenley and Hollyn Duncan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Fran Cranage and Maxine Moseley; 3 brothers, Nile Moseley, Lowell Moseley, and Carroll Moseley; beloved nieces, Leonda Allgood and Elizabeth Ashley; brother-in-laws, Kenneth Hawkins, Ed Gravell, and Jack Cranage.
