Della Mae Bruner, 88, of Cottonwood Rt. 1, died late Thursday afternoon after receiving injuries in an automobile accident.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Ward-Wilson Brown-Service Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight at the funeral home.

COTTONWOOD – Mrs. Della Mae Whitehead Bruner, 88, of Cottonwood Rt. 1, died late Thursday afternoon as a result of injuries received in an auto-truck collision on US Highway 84 near Ashford.
The funeral will be 2:30 pm today in the St. Mary United Methodist Church, near Cottonwood, with the Revs. Clarence Watson and Troy L Washington officiating. Burial will be in Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward-Wilson Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the funeral home until one hour prior to funeral time, when it will be put in the church.
A native of Houston County, she had lived in the county and in the St. Mary's Church Community most of her lifetime. She was the widow of Eugene C Bruner and a member of St. Mary United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one half-sister, Mrs. Nettie Deese, Marianna, Fla.; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Bonnie Ridley, Ashford; Mrs. Eva Bruner, Cottonwood; Mrs. Bell Tillery, Columbia; several nieces and nephews.
