He was born in Tell City on December 2, 1963, the son of Leon Rex 'Bing' Ahl of Tobinsport and the late Lillian Marcella (Shellenberger) Ahl.
He was a mechanic and enjoyed camping and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Marcella (Shellenberger) Ahl; his wife, Debbie; a step-mother, Louise (Cash-Harding) Ahl, a step-sister, Joyce Bender; and grandparents, George and Daisy (Shoemaker) Shellenberger and Earl and Verna (Miller) Ahl.
Surviving are his father, a step-grandmother, Erma Lee Weatherholt of Cannelton; two sisters; four brothers; and two step-brothers.
Services will be held at 11 am Friday, July 18, at Huber Funeral Home in Cannelton, Pastor Milton Pledger will officiate. Burial will be in Wegenast Cemetery at Rome.
Friends may call from 2-8 pm Thursday and from 9 to service time at the funeral home.
