Steven Lauderdale, 67, of Arlington, passed away October 17, 2019 in Shelbyville. Steve was born December 27, 1951 in Lafayette to Gaylon & Betty (Clawson) Lauderdale. He was a 1970 graduate of Delphi High School and obtained his Bachelor's in Theology from Inste Bible College. Steve married Debbie Dishon on October 25, 1974 and she survives. Steve worked 45 years for Industrial Cab in Flora, Rushville & Richmond, retiring as production manager in 2014. He served many churches as pastor over the years and was a man of great faith. Steve considered himself a retired professional fisherman and enjoyed the many beauties nature had to offer! In addition to his wife, Debbie, of Arlington, Steve is survived by his sons, Christopher (Patricia) Lauderdale and Kyle Lauderdale all of Rushville, a sister, Sharon (Dennis) Wilson of Delphi and his loving granddaughters, Charity, Honor & Samantha Lauderdale. Steve was preceded in death by his daughter, Kari Lauderdale. Memorial contributions may be made to Benesse Cancer Center at Major Health Partners, Shelbyville. Private cremation will take place with no public services. Moster Mortuary, Rushville, entrusted with arrangements.
