Willie Charles Evans Sr.
The Rev. Willie Charles Evans Sr., 54, of Waukegan, Ill., formerly of Charleston, went home to the Lord on July 5, 2007, after a long illness.
Rev. Charles was a graduate of Montgomery High School and Rockville University with a degree in arts, theology and biblical counseling. He held a certificate of merit from Rhema Bible School of Prophecy of Master Prophet Bernard Jordan. He was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Army.
Left to morn are his wife, Esperanza A; sisters, Dorothy Smith of Montgomery and Nellie Mae Evans and Beverly Ann Evans, both of Charleston; brother, James Evans Jr. of Fayetteville, N. C.; daughters, Pandorea of Seattle, Wash., and Lisa and Stephanie, both of Georgia; sons, Joseph Evans of Charlotte, N. C., James E. Evans, Sr. of Cleveland, Ohio and Willie C. Evans Jr. of Washington, D.C.; stepson, Jess of Waukegan, Ill; a host of nieces and nephews and cousins; and five grandchildren.
He will be missed and loved by his family and friends.
