Born in Shawangunk, Ulster County, on July 17, 1893, daughter of Alvin and Emma Baker Marcy, she spent her early life in Walden.
On Sept. 1, 1910, she was married to Lynden Galbraith.
Mr. and Mrs. Galbraith came to Boonville many years ago. Mr. Galbraith died May 28, 1952. For the past few years Mrs. Galbraith had lived with her daughter, Mrs. Bruce Klosner.
Mrs. Galbraith is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Howard Bruce (Dorothy Jane) Klosner, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Richards, both of Boonville and Mrs. Lynda Phelps, Prospect; two sons, Wilson Galbraith, Boonville and Lincoln B. Galbraith, Mapledale; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
