He attended First Baptist Church in Chattanooga Mr. Bailey was a graduate of Georgia Tech and was retired as an engineer from Combustion Engineering. T.L. was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving in WWII. He was a member of the Downtown Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Fay Bailey.
The family will receive friends from 2-7 p.m. Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road and from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at Julian Peoples Funeral Home 2627 Old Chattanooga Road in Rocky Face, Ga.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Julian Peoples Funeral Home with Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating. Burial will be in Whitfield Memorial Gardens in Dalton, GA.
