Two children of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zanders are dead, Junior, aged 3, and Louisa, 9. The girl was killed almost instantly, while the little boy died in the hospital here at 3 o'clock this morning. Both the parents of the victims are in the hospital being treated for injuries. Mr. Zanders and his wife conducted a soft drink parlor at Lake Isadore and their property was destroyed by the cyclone.

FORMER MANITOWOC FAMILY IS BELIEVED TO HAVE PERISHED

Manitowoc—The entire family of Louis Zander, 45, formerly of Manitowoc county, now residing at Medford, Wis., is believed to have been wiped out by the storm Sunday.

Messages received at Manitowoc today say that the two Zander children, a daughter aged 9 and a son aged 3, were killed outright, while Mr. and Mrs. Zander are confined to the Medford hospital with what are believed to be fatal injuries.

The farm and resort conducted by Mr. Zander at Medford has been completely demolished, it is reported, but no details have been learned.

Mr. Zander is the son of Helmuth Zander, pioneer merchant of Manitowoc county.

The relatives in Manitowoc have been summoned to the bedside of Mr. and Mrs. Zander at Medford. The parents of Mr. Zander, who lived with the family, escaped without injury, it is said.

STORM KILLS CHILDREN; INJURES PARENTS

The severe wind storm which caused a loss of close to 60 lives in this state Sunday, killed two children of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zander, formerly of Gibson, this county. The parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Zander were seriously injured and are confined to the hospital at Medford, Wis.

Neighbors wired the information to relatives. Louis Zander is a cousin of Arnold and Richard Zander of this city.

Louis Zander was born at Gibson and is about 40 years of age. He left about 15 years ago, locating on a farm about 15 miles north of Medford and has erected a summer resort on the lake on his property.
