Robert K. Woelfel, age 48, of W262 South 816 Fairiawn Way, Waukesha, Wis., formerly of Kiel, died Wednesday afternoon October 14, 1992.

He was born May 6, 1944, in Hayton, Wis., son of the late Adelbert and Coletta Woelfel. He attended school in Hayton, St. Gregory, St. Nazianz, and was a 1962 graduate of Kiel High School. He received his bachelor of science degree from Stout University. On May 6, 1967, he married Phyllis Schneider at St. Anne Catholic Church, St. Anna. He was an independent insurance agent and investment broker for Woelfel Investment Services in Elkhorn. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1962 until 1965. He was a member of the Waukesha Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis; two sons Barry, Milwaukee, Randy, Waukesha; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Irene Schneider; one brother, Harold Woelfel, Chilton; two sisters, Jeannette Schaller, St. Nazianz, Bernadine Holschbach, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday October 17, 1992, at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, Cremation will follow. Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.

A memorial has been established in his name.
