Altoona Tribune, Sat. Nov. 13, 1897, p. 5:1. John N. Baronner died at his home in Gaysport yesterday morning at 2 o'clock after a brief illness. The deceased was born in Bavaria, April 29, 1819. He came to this county in 1848. He was married in 1845 to Crescentia Atzer. Ten children were born to this union, of whom six are living: Joseph W., John R., Louis C., Rosa, May T., of Pittsburg, Sr. M. Pulcheria. The funeral services will be held in St. Michael's church, Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery. Mr. Baronner followed the pursuit of a truck farmer, and was an honest and industrious citizen.
