Lester G. Lambries Jr., age 76, of 2021 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Lester was born on Dec. 21, 1930, in Manitowoc, son of the late Lester and Margaret (Krause) Lambries. He attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1949 from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. On Oct. 2, 1952, he married the former Patricia Bishop in Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife: Patricia, Manitowoc; four children: Lyle (Sandy) Lambries, Manitowoc; Laura (Robert) Maxwell, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; Loren (Suzanne) Lambries, Phownix, Ariz.; Lance (Heather) Lambries, both of Redmound, Ore.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Russell (Bev) Lambries, Nebraska; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law also survive.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 S. Eighth St., Manitowoc. Deacon Maurie Reed will officiate. Relatives and friends may call on Monday at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m.
