Manitowoc - Gary F. Keil, age 73, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Rivers Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc.

Gary was born on October 23, 1944 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Roland and Kathleen Johnson Keil. Gary was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He served his country with the United States Army overseas in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge he returned to Manitowoc. Gary was employed for many years at Federal Mogul from where he retired.

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law: Jim and Pat Keil, Manitowoc; one sister: Cathy Keil, Colorado; one niece, three nephews, aunts, an uncle, cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roland and Kathleen Keil.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
