Jerome R. (Jerry) Bingman, age 65, of 2000 Johnston Drive, Lot 223, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Aurora BayCare, Green Bay.

He was born Aug. 27, 1941, in Escanaba, Mich., son of Edna (Johnson) Bingman and the late Faye Bingman. Jerry served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962. On July 1, 1978, he married the former Sherry Basler, in Michigan. Jerry was a tool and die maker at various companies in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Survivors include his wife: Sherry Bingman, Manitowoc; two daughters: Kellie Aos, Minnesota; Kerrie Morton and special friend: Luke Lau, Minnesota; a step-daughter and step- son-in-law: Tammy and Mark Barker, North Carolina; a step-son: Jason Radandt, Manitowoc; four step-grandchildren; his mother: Edna Bingman, Michigan; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Cheryl Thurkettle; Judy Manning; Kathy and Dave Dickens; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Fred and Patti Bingman, Mike and Linda Bingman; all of Michigan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Joe and Gloria Alaers, Montana; Rev. James and Mary Basler, Manitowoc; Robert Basler and special friend: Lynn, Manitowoc; Lori and Duane Blazer, Manitowoc; Al and Tina Bruckner, Manitowoc; Jane Carter, Texas. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by a sister: Donna Larson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Roger Sr. and Deloris Basler; and a brother-in-law: Roger Basler Jr.

The family will greet relatives and friends for a memorial visitation on Saturday, May 12, 2007, at 2000 Johnston Drive, Lot 223, Manitowoc, from 3 to 7 p.m. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Jerry's name.

The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Sherry wishes to send a special thank you to Aurora Medical Center, Lori Blazer, brothers, sisters and friends, for their compassionate care and support given to Jerry.
