Mary Ann "Nan" Murray Hutchins, 84 of Brinkley passed away Monday, October 28, 2019. She was born to Joseph Daniel and Chloe Parks Murray, February 11, 1935 in Rich. Mary Ann graduated from Brinkley High School in May of 1953 and later that year, relocated to Memphis where she worked five years for AT&T.

On October 1, 1955 Mary Ann married James Oliver Hutchins of Hunter. They would spend the next 27 years living in Memphis. In 1960 they became the parents of a wonderful baby girl Rhonda Lynwood Bargery. Three years later a bouncing baby, Roger Dale came along. After James retired in 1980, they moved to Hunter, his childhood home. Mary Ann was a fine Christian lady, assuming at all times a quiet spirit. For the past 36 years they have attended the Brinkley First Baptist Church, beginning in 1983.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Chloe Parks Murray, husband, James O. Hutchins; son, Roger Dale Hutchins; brother, Benny Murray; sisters, June Williams and Leigh Parsley; and great grandson, Carter Herron.

She is survived by daughter, Rhonda Hutchins Bargery and husband Leo; grandchildren, Justin Roger Bargery and wife, Heather, Dana Bargery, Scarlet Childress, Emma Bargery and Sebastian Bargery.
