Sabina BrennanJames was the son of John Grogan and Sabina (Brennan) Grogan. Both of his parents were born in Ire. He was the 7th of 13 children born to the family. He married late in life to Leda Hepp, They married in 1921. They had only lived in Maywood, Ill for two months and 10 days when he passed away. I have not found that he had any children.

His siblings who have not been put on FAG as yet are Patrick Francis b. Mar. 6, 1875 death after 1951. Patrick was married to Matilda Techla/Teckla before 1918 in S.D. Dehlia b. Feb. 1882 and died after 1951. She never married and lived in the family home most of her life. There was a sister Nellie born about 1886 and died in Chicago at age 26. She had married a Brown. There was Mary who died as a result of an accident at her elementary school and a child that died at birth. The last was Joseph Francis b. Mar. 14, 1886 and died between 1942 and 1951.

His wife ordered a headstone from the government since James had served from May 10, 1918-March 31, 1919. The stone was ordered Oct. 18, 1949.
