Ruth Elizabeth Adams, age 100, of Prescott, Arizona, formerly of Verona, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Care in Prescott. She was born August 14, 1919 in Industry, Kansas, the daughter of Daniel and Stella (Sword) Engle. On February 17, 1939 in Ontario, California, she married Arlie Adams. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1986. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Aurora, Missouri.

Ruth is survived by three sons: Rudy Adams, of Renton Washington; Wayne Adams of Prescott, Arizona; and Paul Adams of Neosho, Missouri; four sisters: Marion Brubaker, of Pennsylvania; Josephine Hoff of California; Roberta Powell of Idaho; and Dorothy Jackson of California; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Stella; husband, Arlie; five sisters and five brothers.

A graveside service under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home of Aurora will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Spring River Cemetery in Verona, Missouri.
