Ms. Shaw was born on May 23, 1923 in Robeson County to the late Pink Byrd and Etta Mae Hardin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Evergreen Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00, Monday evening at Worthington
Funeral Home in Chadbourn.
Camilla was a registered nurse, starting her career at Baker’s Hospital in Lumberton, and later at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville for a total of 40 years.
Ms. Shaw leaves behind her daughter, Sybil Carter (Charlie) of Columbia, SC; sons, Clifton Shaw (Gail) of Wilmington, Sammy Shaw (Joni) of Matthews; sister, Mary Byrd of Charlotte; grandchildren, Paige Warshaw (Larry), Brandon Carter (Karen), Cameron Walls (Kirby), Bradford Carter, Andrew Shaw (Kathleen), Michael Shaw (Leslie); and nine Great-Grandchildren.
Memorial may be addressed to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or Evergreen Baptist Church.
