She was the daughter of Evelyn L. Barbour.
Sandra was a graduate of Charlottesville High School and attended Piedmont Community College. Sandra was employed for over 10 years at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Facility. She was an active member of Mount Zion First African Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for a number of years. Her passion was working with children. She enjoyed visiting the sick and shut-in at Trinity Mission and the Laurels and was willing to lend a helping hand. She always had a smile and a pleasant word to share.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved mother, Evelyn L. Barbour; a number of cousins and many friends. She will surely be missed.
