Suggested edit: Jesse Parker -Sara Wiley are my Great 5th grandparents. The info regarding a relation to Cynthia Ann is incorrect. DNA has our family in FG7 ...elder John Parker and his family, including Cynthia Ann is in FG5. In addition, factual documents prove we are not related to Cynthia Ann. Her Uncle stayed with my grandfather Jesse Parker in Huntsville in 1837. James Parker states in the Rachel Plummer Narrative book (Rachel was kidnapped along with/Cynthia Ann in 1836) regarding Jesse Parker, " although of the same last name, is of NO relation to me or my family". This family folklore is one of great confusion in my family (Elizabeth Coe was my great 4th Aunt), as Jesse kids were asked to call James Parker "Uncle Jim" when he stayed at they're father's cabin. Jesse dies a couple years later as does James Parker---no one ever tells them he is not they're blood uncle...only a Family Friend Uncle Jim.
