OBITUARY

Mary Eliza Deal
Mrs. Mary Eliza Deal, 79, died at her home 109 Platinum Nov. 1. She had been a resident of this city for nine years.

She was born in Alvord, Texas. on Sept 13, 1886 and moved to this city from Farmington. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two sons, Littleton Smithee, of this city, J.C. Smithee, Farmington; four daughters, Carrie Jenson, El Cajon, Calif., Luella Peace of this city, Opal Brooks, Farmington, Vera Scribner of Albuquerque, 24 grandchildren; one brother, Samuel F. Horlacher, Coolidge, Arizona.

Services were conducted Wednesday, Nov. 3, in the French Funeral Chapel with the Rev. H.E. Hill officiating. Burial was in the local cemetery under the direction of Harold Kingston.
