Norene Bankston Raper, of Phil Campbell, passed away Sunday at Terrace Manor Nursing Home & Rehab.
Mrs. Raper worked for years at the sewing factory of Wrangler.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 06, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 07, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in the Liberty Hill Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lloyd Raper; daughter, Sherry Dianne Raper; parents, Henry and Easter (Edgar) Bankston; brother, Clevis Bankston; sisters, Ruby McDuffy, Florene Raper, Bitha Bankston; and son-in-law, John Fortner.
