Victoria Drowns Vogel, 68, of Waltham, Mass., formerly of Tarpon Springs, died Saturday (July 7, 2001) at home under the care of hospice.
She was born in Phoenix, Ariz., and came here in 1978 from the Brooksville area. She moved to Waltham last year from Tarpon Springs. She worked as a real estate agent for many years and was associated with the Senor Service Employment Program. She worked as a volunteer at the Tarpon Springs Library, was a member of MENSA and throughout her life was interested in history and political affairs.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelley Drowns, Waltham; a brother, Stephen Chapman, Clearwater; and a granddaughter, Jayne Amani, Montgomery, Ala.
