Cynthia "Jane" Clark, 68 of Princeton died on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley. Jane was a very capable and caring educator. She served as a teacher in both McDowell County and Mercer County before retiring with 34 years of service. She last taught at Princeton Middle School. Following retirement she taught classes at Concord University for an additional ten years. Jane was a graduate of Northfork-Elkhorn High School, earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Concord College and her Master's Degree from Marshall University. She was an active member of the Concord University Alumni Association and enjoyed volunteering for the annual West Virginia Math Field Day.

Born in Bluefield, WV on January 14, 1947 she was the daughter of the late William Wesley Clark, Jr. (1923-Deceased) and Neva Barr-Clark (1923-Deceased). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Wayne Clark (1949-2005).

Survivors include two sisters, Carol Clark-Graves of Virginia Beach, VA and Jill Clark-Gillette & husband Frank Gillette of Pittsboro, NC; one brother, Kevin Wesley Clark (1966-2017) & wife Ruth Clark of Frederick, MD; one niece, Julie Gillette-Williams; five nephews, Mark Clark, Jeffrey Clark, Jeremy Graves, Jonathan Graves and Joseph Gillette; two great-nieces; and five great-nephews.

In keeping with her wishes Jane was cremated. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton with Rev. Buster Kestner officiating.
